Biography
"Born and raised in Brooklyn, Ray Myers is a true New Yorker with musical roots heavily influenced by blues, soul and jazz of the 1950's and 1960's. His unique style is a combination of R&B and Soul.
Ray has shared the stage with such international music icons as: Aretha Franklin, the Jackson Five, Roy Orbison and Robert Cray. He has played to audiences in both the U.S. and Canada and is currently preparing for a tour of Europe.
Ray's magnificent stage presence and deep, smoldering, soulful voice with it's four-octave vocal range has created a following among blues, soul and jazz fans everywhere. He is a true performer and a leader in his field.
Ray's latest CD release showcases his hard-blowing, multi-level sax sounds with an incredible variety of material."
